Job summary

Jobtome is seeking a Senior Go Backend Developer to join our fully remote engineering team. You’ll own critical backend systems, write production Go daily, and influence architectural decisions across services powering our HR tech platform.

You’ll design scalable APIs (GraphQL/REST), work closely with frontend, data, and product teams, and focus on reliability, observability, and performance. European time zone alignment is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production Go experience required.
• Based in a European timezone UTC−1 to UTC+3.
• Senior role with ownership of backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services in Go.
• Develop APIs (GraphQL/REST) behind complex workflows.
• Own backend features end-to-end from design to production.
• Improve reliability, observability, and performance.
