Job summary

Catapult in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Golang experience to join our engineering team and help build the next generation of our cloud platform. This hands‑on role requires designing, building and operating production backend services, with ownership across the full development lifecycle.

You will work on distributed systems, APIs, and data workflows in a fast‑paced, sports‑technology environment. The Boston office is a three‑day‑per‑week hub for collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' recent experience delivering multiple scalable services into production.
• Experience designing, building and operating production‑grade backend services.
• Experience working with cloud‑based and distributed systems, including AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable, reliable backend services in Golang.
• Take ownership of services and features from planning through production.
• Contribute to architecture and technical direction of our cloud platform.
• Write high‑quality automated tests and contribute to test strategy.
• Improve automation and engineering processes for reliable delivery.
• Collaborate with teams to understand customer needs and deliver effective solutions.
