CloudBees is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team in a hybrid role based in Denver. You will design and ship backend services in Golang, build scalable APIs, and contribute to the data layer across SQL/NoSQL and streaming systems.

You will mentor peers and help shape product-oriented platform decisions. You will collaborate across orgs to ensure robust CI/CD, compliance posture, and deep customer value, while balancing speed and correctness in a distributed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering in a production SaaS environment.
• Strong proficiency in Golang with system-level thinking.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, NATs, REST/gRPC/GraphQL, and cloud providers.

Responsabilités

• Own the platform foundation, building high-throughput backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend and platform teams to define clean API contracts.
• Design and evolve data layer across relational, NoSQL, and streaming systems.
• Write well-documented code, metrics, logging, and tracing for observability.
• Mentor peers and engage in architecture and code review discussions.
