Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in science/engineering with 8+ years in engineering.
• Experience with Matlab, Simulink and C programming.
• Experience in signal processing.
• Ability to develop clear/adaptable models of complex electromechanical systems.
• Experience delivering professional presentations.
• Experience with high-bandwidth mechatronics and dynamics.
• Research and development of precision pointing systems.
• Experience working with external vendors and hardware suppliers.
• Active and transferable TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-fidelity modeling of electromechanical actuators and sensors to validate designs against test data.
• Distill high-fidelity models into low-fidelity versions for system-level simulations.
• Provide rapid-turnaround study results and maintain simulation infrastructure.
• Create/maintain surrogate models for larger system simulations.
• Support sponsor-driven studies with 2–3 week cycles; present results via plots and PowerPoint.
• Maintain and update simulation environment for project stakeholders.
• Participate in vendor meetings to reflect external hardware/software specs.
