Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related engineering discipline is required.
• 15+ years' combined experience in aircraft design, GN&C, flight testing, systems engineering and program management.
• Experience leading development of autopilot and flight control systems for manned or unmanned air vehicles.
• Willingness to travel within the continental U.S. up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, development and validation of the flight control system for current and new products.
• Define system architecture and flow down to design teams.
• Track project technical progress and communicate performance.
• Mentor and transfer knowledge to fellow engineers.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain on priorities and plans.
• Address issues that cross departmental boundaries and drive resolution.
