Job summary

Encode, Inc, a fully owned subsidiary of Lancesoft, seeks a senior GNC engineer to lead the design and analysis of Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems on onsite assignments in Albuquerque, NM. Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required (U.S. citizenship required).
• Ability, after starting in the position, to obtain SCI or T5 (SSBI).
• GNC engineering experience.
• Classical control theory knowledge.
• Experience with higher-level programming languages (C, MATLAB, Python) and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Resolve requirement conflicts.
• Perform and document analysis and design of GNC systems.
• Model validation against test data to inform simulation accuracy.
• Assess and refine the control law design using advanced analysis.
• Gather, define, and document mission requirements and ensure traceability from system to component level.
• Develop solutions and disposition issues to assure customer satisfaction.
• Design trade studies to meet program requirements.
• Collaborate across systems engineering, software, and hardware disciplines.
• Implement COTS solutions where appropriate.
• Author and maintain engineering documentation.
