Job summary

Tiberius Aerospace is seeking a Senior GNC Navigation Engineer to translate GNC algorithms into production-grade, real-time embedded flight software for our flight computer. You will develop the navigation filter, guidance logic, and autopilot control laws, and own the SIL and HIL verification infrastructure end-to-end.

This role requires expertise in C/C++, RTOS or bare-metal, Kalman filters, MATLAB/Simulink, and DO-178C/MISRA-C style development. U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in a relevant engineering field.
• 8+ years of embedded flight software experience.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Expert in C/C++ in real-time embedded environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement GPS/INS navigation filter in embedded C/C++ for the flight computer.
• Define and own GNC software architecture and fault detection logic.
• Develop SIL/HIL infrastructure to verify GNC end-to-end.
• Collaborate with navigation and controls for algorithm translation.
• Characterize performance: CPU budget, worst-case timing.
