Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking a senior engineer for the Production Design, Verification & Validation Group to design, analyze, and validate high-precision GN&C systems for defense and space applications.

You will lead small to mid-size teams, develop test plans, and integrate and test complex hardware and software, including inertial sensors, with a strong emphasis on documentation and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• Requires 5-7 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role.
• Experience with system integration and system level testing.
• Experience in DOORS for requirements development and traceability and/or verification and validation.
• Experience developing Master Test Plans from development to production (DVT, Qualification and ATP).
• Familiarity with LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Lead tasks while tracking priorities, scope, cost and schedule.
• Develop plans and procedures for solving complex I&T problems across a program lifecycle.
• Independently contribute high quality content for technical reports and presentations.
• Present technical information during meetings with stakeholders.
• Identify program/system-level technical risks and mitigate accordingly.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and provide feedback.
