Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Software Engineer to join the GN&C Analysis group, contributing to end-to-end system lifecycle support from concept to validation. You will design algorithms, develop embedded software, and run tests to verify performance of inertial sensors, navigation, and estimation solutions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in software engineering, strong MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++, and a background in autonomy or GNC theory, with eligibility for a government security

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Software Engineering experience.
• Experience with inertial sensors, navigation, estimation, and GNC concepts.
• Eligibility for U.S. government security clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates requirements, proposes solutions, explores design trades.
• Designs algorithms using modern theory and proven techniques.
• Develops embedded software based on prototype algorithms.
• Analyzes designs to demonstrate performance and functionality.
• Develops and executes software tests to verify compliance.
• Prepares technical data, procedures, reports and drawings.
