Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in the Greater Seattle Area is looking for a Senior Guidance, Control & 7n Algorithms Engineer to own GN&C from requirements to flight testing on the New Glenn program. You will design and implement guidance/control, develop models in MATLAB/Simulink, and contribute to verification through HIL campaigns.

The role requires 7+ years of experience in aerospace GN&C software, proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, and hands-on C/C++ flight software development, with a focus on

Qualifications

BS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
7+ years of experience in G&C software for aerospace or safety-critical apps.
Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink for design and analysis.

Responsibilities

Design and develop GN&C guidance and control algorithms.
Sequence mission activities and vehicle system commands.
Develop requirements down to subsystems and software.
Create Simulink-based models for auto-code generation.
Write hand-coded flight software in C/C++ where needed.
Perform stability and performance analyses; nonlinear models.
