Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Facility Engineer to lead GMP-regulated utilities and infrastructure in Wilson, NC. The role oversees critical systems, maintenance reliability programs, and compliance with GMP standards in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical/electrical facilities background with 7+ years of experience and strong leadership, troubleshooting, and project management skills. Growth opportunities exist within a high‑reliability operations team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities, Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
7+ years of experience in GMP-regulated facilities and utilities.
Experience with CMMS platforms and maintenance reliability programs.
Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for facility utility systems and critical infrastructure.
Oversee operation, maintenance, and reliability of chillers, cooling towers, boilers, BAS, and HVAC/utility systems.
Lead investigations, deviations, corrective actions and root cause analysis related to utility systems.
Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Mentor and train maintenance technicians and utility operators.
Coordinate contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance activities.
