Job summary

PSC Biotech is seeking a Senior Automation Systems Lead to provide technical and operational leadership for GMP manufacturing automation, including PCS, SCADA, and historian platforms. You will oversee day-to-day automation service delivery, troubleshooting, maintenance, and change management to keep systems reliable and compliant.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Validation, IT/OT, and vendors to drive continuous improvement, cybersecurity, patching, and lifecycle

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience supporting automation systems in GMP-regulated environments.
• 5+ years leading automation support, engineering, or managed services teams.
• Experience with critical manufacturing automation systems in 24x7 operations.
• Strong knowledge of Rockwell Automation and SCADA/ historian platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational leadership for GMP manufacturing automation and control systems.
• Serve as primary technical contact for system owners, manufacturing, Quality, and IT/OT teams.
• Lead support for Rockwell PLCs, FactoryTalk View SE, Ignition SCADA, and PI Historian.
• Manage incidents, problems, service requests, and escalations in a 24x7 environment.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and root-cause investigations for complex issues.
• Monitor system availability, performance, and reliability across platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement, lifecycle management, and change control compliance.
