Job summary

ACQCENTRIC INC. seeks an experienced analyst to support Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) systems for the Missile Defense Agency. The role focuses on performance analyses, tool development in MATLAB and Python, and communicating results to leadership.

The candidate will conduct Monte Carlo simulations, statistical studies, and trade-space assessments, translating findings into actionable recommendations for program leadership and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in STEM with 12+ years relevant experience.
• Active security clearance (SECRET or above) required.
• Advanced proficiency in MATLAB with model development and visualization.
• Proficiency in Python with NumPy, SciPy, Pandas and Matplotlib.
• Experience evaluating missile defense engagement performance.
• Strong communication of analyses to government leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance analyses of Ground-based Missile Defense system capabilities using modeling and simulation tools.
• Develop and execute analytical methodologies to evaluate system effectiveness and engagement outcomes.
• Design, develop, and maintain analytical tools using MATLAB and Python.
• Conduct statistical analyses, sensitivity studies, Monte Carlo simulations, and trade-space assessments.
• Analyze large datasets from missile defense simulations to identify trends and improvements.
• Develop technical reports, presentations, and data visualizations for government and leadership.
• Collaborate with engineers, modeling teams, software developers, and SMEs to define analysis approaches.
• Support design reviews and customer briefings.
• Maintain analytical documentation and consistency of modeling assumptions.
