Job summary

Planted is seeking a Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Lead in Oakland, CA to own end-to-end procurement for solar projects, including BOM management and logistics. You will coordinate with Project Managers and Field teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget, while growing internal procurement processes and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain with project timelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Experience managing multiple suppliers across domestic and international vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage BOM procurement, verify specs with engineers, track lead times and quantities.
• Coordinate material delivery and on-site logistics to align with milestones.
• Place and manage POs through full lifecycle to meet delivery dates.
• Track status and update Project Managers on installation timelines.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure reliability, quality and cost control.
• Forecast material needs and identify long lead items for procurement.
• Drive improvements to procurement workflows to reduce costs.
