Job summary

Nextpower LLC in Fremont, CA is seeking a Global Supply Planner to own supplier allocation, continuity, and performance across key suppliers and product families for solar project execution. You will apply advanced planning expertise to forecasts, lead times, pricing, and inventory readiness to safeguard schedules and revenue.

This senior individual contributor role requires strong collaboration with Sourcing, Engineering, Logistics, and Project Operations, with the ability to influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field with 8+ years in supply planning or related areas.
• Masters or PhD with relevant experience also acceptable.
• APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own complex supply allocation and continuity across domestic and global networks.
• Lead supplier planning, secure commitments based on demand, capacity, and lead times.
• Monitor material readiness and communicate trade-offs to align with production schedules.
• Identify supply risks and develop mitigation and recovery plans.
• Standardize supplier-management processes and drive cross-functional reviews and actions.
• Leverage MRP, Anaplan, Oracle, Excel, and Power BI for end‑to‑end visibility.
