Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA seeks a Senior Global Supply Manager II - Space to lead sourcing strategies, build supplier partnerships, and drive supply chain resilience across rocket and satellite programs. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams from development to production, manage direct and indirect procurement, and ensure compliance with ITAR and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supplier management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience (12+ years total).
• U.S. citizenship is required, due to program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with program goals (cost, quality, delivery).
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships from RFIs to contract execution.
• Lead supplier negotiations on a first-principles basis to secure best terms.
• Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance with metrics and scorecards.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to meet program requirements.
