Job summary

The Amazon Logistics Supply Chain team is seeking a qualified Supply Chain Manager to lead automation initiatives for delivery stations across North America and Europe. You will collaborate with engineering on new product development, identify strategic suppliers, and drive complex negotiations to scale technology programs from prototype to execution.

You will own supplier qualification, project planning, cross-functional coordination, risk management, and ongoing optimization of supply chain

Qualifications

• 4+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
• Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python.
• Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Lead the negotiation process to secure favorable terms and conditions for our organization.
• Conduct rigorous supplier qualification processes to assess their ability to meet our quality, delivery, and performance standards.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans to ensure timely and efficient execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project stays on track.
• Continuously analyze supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement strategies to scale up the technologies across regions with qualified suppliers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and address any issues promptly.
• Identify and assess potential supply chain risks, such as supplier disruptions, quality issues, or geopolitical factors.
• Develop and implement contingency plans to minimize the impact of these risks.
