Job summary

CONMED Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Sourcing - Plastics to lead the global plastics category strategy, supplier governance, and cost optimization across resin and molding technologies. This role partners with Engineering, R&D, and Manufacturing to support new product introductions and ensure supply continuity.

You will drive total cost of ownership improvements, manage risk, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver measurable value while aligning with enterprise growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, operations, business, or related field.
• 8-10 years of progressive sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or category management experience.
• 3 years of leadership experience.
• 3 years of experience managing plastics, resins, molded components, or related direct material categories.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year global category strategies for plastics, resins, molded components, and related manufacturing technologies.
• Lead supplier relationships with global plastics suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Deliver annual cost reduction, cost avoidance, and productivity objectives.
• Partner with Engineering, R&D, Supplier Development, and Manufacturing for NPI and launches.
• Identify, mitigate and monitor supply continuity risks across the plastics supply base.
