Job summary

CONMED Corporation seeks a Senior Manager, Global Sourcing - Plastics to lead the global sourcing strategy for plastic resins and related components. Remote - East Coast preferred with 20-30% travel, reporting to the Director, Global Sourcing.

You will drive supplier relationships, total cost of ownership improvements, and cross-functional partnering with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to support new product introductions and supply continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 8-10 years of progressive sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or category management experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience.
• Minimum 3 years of plastics, resins, molded components, or related direct material experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year global category strategies for plastics, resins, molded components, and related manufacturing technologies.
• Build category roadmaps aligned with growth, manufacturing expansion, product development, and supplier capability requirements.
• Analyze global market trends, raw material availability, capacity constraints, geopolitical risks, and emerging technologies.
• Provide executive recommendations on sourcing opportunities, supplier footprint optimization, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead supplier governance including quarterly business reviews and performance scorecards.
• Partner with Engineering, R&D, Supplier Development, and Manufacturing to support NPI and commercialization.
