Job summary

CONMED is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Sourcing – Plastics to lead the development and execution of global sourcing strategies for resins, molded components, extrusion products, and related plastics materials. Remote - East Coast preferred with 20–30% travel to support global manufacturing operations.

The role focuses on supplier relationships, TCO improvements, NPI support, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to balance cost, quality, and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive sourcing/procurement experience.
• CPSM, CIPS, CPM, or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year global plastics category strategies.
• Lead supplier relationships and governance (RBMs, scorecards, QBRs).
• Drive cost reductions, value creation, and total cost of ownership analyses.
