Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Process Design Engineer to spearhead next-generation sortation systems and logistics processes for NASC. You will lead end-to-end process designs for fulfillment centers, cross-dock facilities, and hubs, collaborating with global teams and vendors.

The role requires 5+ years of design & innovation experience, strong automation expertise, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives across a fast-paced environment. 25% global travel is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent.
Experience designing solutions for large, high-volume sorting operations.
Experience in management of engineering design projects.
Experience using MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.
5+ years of design & innovation, research & development work experience.
5+ years of specialty experience (preferred).
Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, MBA, or related field (preferred).
Experience with automated material handling, packaging technologies, and systems.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic design initiatives for global sortation and transportation networks.
Develop comprehensive solutions optimizing equipment specs, material flow, and site layouts.
