Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an innovative engineering project leader to drive next-generation sortation and transportation systems on a global scale. You will lead design and process design efforts for SSD & NASC, collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality, cost-efficient solutions with significant ownership and travel.

The role requires 3+ years in design/innovation or related fields, a Bachelor's degree, and willingness to travel up to 25% globally.

Qualifications

Experience in Design/Innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or related work.
Experience in management of engineering design projects.
Bachelor's degree required.
3+ years of Design/Innovation, R&D, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or related experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the sortation and transportation network.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with stakeholders.
Provide technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects.
Communicate a compelling business case with senior executives and execute the roadmap.
