Job summary

CompoSecure, a GPGI business, seeks a Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting Lead to manage complex accounting matters, SEC reporting, and consolidations across Holdco and operating entities. The role collaborates with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, Tax, HR, and Operations, including interactions with external auditors to ensure U.S.

GAAP and SEC compliance. Location options include Somerset, NJ or Toronto area; CPA and 8+ years of experience are preferred for this high-impact finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with public company financial reporting and SEC filings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K and other SEC filings.
• Lead consolidation and close processes across entities.
• Develop technical accounting memoranda and policy updates.
• Support mergers and acquisitions accounting and purchase price allocations.
• Assist with SOX documentation, controls, and audit support.
• Provide cross-functional leadership and training in finance processes.
