Job summary

CompoSecure, L.L.C. is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to maintain financial records and support accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Somerset, NJ, requiring five days in the office weekly.

The position collaborates with operations and management to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, and ongoing process improvements. CPA or CPA candidate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• CPA designation or CPA candidate preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with cash flow reporting.
• Support financial reporting and analysis with schedules and reports.
• Maintain accounting records in the ERP system (Visual and OneStream).
• Assist with external audits and compliance activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies.
• Train and assist team members on procedures.
