Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks a strategic, business‑oriented Senior Corporate Counsel to lead GSBO and LATAM legal support globally. This role collaborates with the San Mateo global legal team and reports to the Senior Director for Global Marketing Sales and Business Operations.

Based in San Mateo, CA or Los Angeles, CA, the role requires 12+ years of experience, LATAM law expertise, and fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years of legal experience, including in-house at a gaming/tech/entertainment company.
• JD or LLM; admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; California Bar preferred.
• Deep experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong understanding of LATAM law, especially Brazil & Argentina, plus US/Mexico.
• Fluency in Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese (written and spoken).
• Experience leading LATAM matters and mentoring teams; ability to influence stakeholders.
• Risk-aware, strategic thinker with collaborative leadership.

Aufgaben

• Lead a global GSBO legal team and LATAM support staff.
• Develop and execute legal strategy for Global Channel Sales leaders and teams.
• Draft/negotiate commercial, distribution, retailer, partner and vendor agreements.
• Provide day-to-day business/legal advisory across LATAM operations.
• Mentor attorneys/paralegals; coordinate with outside counsel.
• Monitor regulatory developments in LATAM; travel as needed.
