Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel, Global Regulatory & Litigation, to guide worldwide regulatory responses and complex litigation matters from its San Mateo, CA base. The role collaborates across Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Product, Engineering, and Finance to develop practical risk strategies and coordinate internal and external teams.

The ideal candidate has ABA‑qualified credentials, a valid state bar, and 10+ years of experience in regulatory and government

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA‑approved law school.
• Active state bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience incl. regulatory inquiries, investigations, complex litigation, and government enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Lead responses to RFIs, inquiries, and investigations across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Information Security, Product, Engineering, and Finance.
• Oversee outside counsel; manage strategy, budgets, and timelines.
• Develop litigation strategy and manage discovery, trials, or settlements as applicable.
