Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks a strategic, business‑oriented attorney to lead legal support for GSBO globally and LATAM regions, reporting to the Senior Director for GSBO Legal. You will work with San Mateo, CA, and LATAM teams on a wide range of commercial matters, including contracts, distribution, and regulatory issues.

The role requires 12+ years of experience, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of legal experience including 3–4 years in-house in gaming/tech/entertainment.
• Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; California Bar preferred.
• Experience negotiating and drafting commercial agreements.
• Fluency in Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese (both preferred).

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a global team of one attorney and two paralegals for GSBO and LATAM.
• Develop and execute legal strategy for Global Channel Sales and leadership teams.
• Advise business units in LATAM (Brazil, Mexico, Argentina) on commercial issues and contracts.
• Provide general legal guidance on sales, marketing, consumer services, e-commerce, and vendor engagements.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on LATAM matters; monitor regulatory developments.
