Job summary

VirtuHire is seeking a Purchasing Logistics Manager to own purchase orders and shipments across a multi region supply chain, with hands-on responsibility in a small team. The role supports US and UK operations as the business launches in the US.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in purchasing/logistics, at least 2 years managing international shipments, and strong experience with MRP/ERP systems and incoterms. Remote work across US/UK time zones is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in purchasing, supply chain or logistics for a physical product.
• At least 2 years managing international shipments and US operations experience
• End to end PO management, expediting and receiving
• Familiar with incoterms, HS codes, commercial documentation and landed cost
• Fluent English and ability to work across US and UK time zones
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and start-up or small manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders for components, parts, packaging and consumables
• Obtain written order confirmations, track POs against delivery dates and elevate slippage
• Match supplier invoices to POs and receipts, flag discrepancies
• Book and manage inbound and outbound freight from multiple regions
• Prepare required documentation and work with customs brokers for US and UK imports
• Run monthly salon replenishment shipments and manage reverse logistics for empty cartridges
