Job summary

VirtuHire client is seeking a Purchasing & Logistics Manager to own POs and shipments across China, Europe, and the US, with assembly in LA and distributed cartridges to salons in US/UK.

You will place orders, chase confirmations, book freight, and resolve issues. This hands-on role requires experience with international shipments, import/export, and strong organisation to keep inventory accurate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in purchasing, supply chain or logistics for a physical product.
• At least 2 years running international shipments.
• Hands-on US operations: customs, freight forwarders and carriers.
• End-to-end PO management: raising, confirming, expediting and receiving.
• Incoterms, HS codes, landed-cost thinking.
• Organised and persistent; chase for answers.
• Fluent English; able to work across US/UK time zones.

Responsibilities

• Raise POs for components, parts and packaging in the MRP system.
• Obtain written order confirmations and chase for delivery.
• Track POs against dates; coordinate recovery with suppliers.
• Match invoices to POs and receipts; flag discrepancies.
• Book inbound/outbound freight from multiple regions.
• Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, and DG paperwork.
• Work with customs brokers on US/UK entries, HS codes.
• Run salon replenishment shipments with 3PLs.
• Manage reverse logistics for empty cartridges.
• Keep inventory across warehouse and 3PLs accurate.
