Placements24 is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to lead and optimize our client’s supply chain functions, working remotely in the United States. This senior role involves overseeing procurement, warehousing, distribution, and delivery while driving data-driven decisions to improve service levels and reduce costs.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in logistics with 2+ years in management, a Lean mindset, and proficiency in ERP/TMS/WMS tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a management capacity.
• Demonstrated success in implementing lean logistics principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, particularly in managing remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Manage and mentor a remote team of logistics professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee all warehousing operations, including inventory control, space utilization, and safety protocols.
• Negotiate contracts with carriers and third-party logistics providers to secure favorable terms.
