Job summary

AFB International in Aurora, Missouri is seeking a Senior Global Project Engineer to lead major capital projects for our manufacturing operations. Projects range from $1M to over $5M, and you will guide them from concept through startup, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and minimal production disruption.

You will collaborate across functions, mentor engineers, and drive readiness through training and procedures while reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of engineering and capital project experience in manufacturing.
• Experience delivering capital projects >= $1M; >$5M preferred.
• Strong estimating, scheduling, procurement, cost control, risk management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex multi-discipline capital projects from identification to handover.
• Develop charters, scopes, schedules, cost estimates and execution plans.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, contingencies and change control across projects.
• Coordinate with operations, quality, EHS, finance, supply chain and leadership.
