Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Project Manager/Engineer Sr Staff to lead high-impact programs, transition know-how, and establish production environments in Europe while mentoring colleagues across the enterprise.

You will oversee operational aspects of ongoing projects, manage schedules, budgets, and risk, and coordinate cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Design, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Program Management to meet customer requirements within business controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
• Experience transitioning programs from development to production.
• Demonstrated ability coordinating with Program Management and all functions to meet customer requirements.
• Knowledge of cost, schedule, quality and safety in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage co-production and second-sourcing efforts for setting up a Missile Maintenance Facility in Europe.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and oversee initial supplier management in Europe.
• Interpret project schedules, ensure milestone adherence, and drive risk mitigation across U.S. sites.
• Mentor and coach team members, facilitating knowledge transfer and production-line start-up.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Design, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Program Management.
