Applied Intuition in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Global People Compliance & ER Partner to lead our employment compliance program and support employee relations across the company. This senior individual contributor role will design the program and be the subject matter expert on compliance across countries and states we operate in.

You will handle policy development, records governance, training, audits and ER casework, partnering with Legal and regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 6+ years in HR compliance, employee relations, People Ops, or employment law.
• Strong California employment law expertise and multi-state experience.
• Global experience across APAC/EMEA/MENA preferred.
• Startup and publicly traded company experience.
• Experience working with auditors and regulators.

Responsabilités

• Design the employment compliance program framework and roadmap.
• Audit practices against country and state laws; close gaps.
• Define recurring checks (I-9 sampling, policy attestations, training, pay data validation).
• Define metrics for compliance health (risk register, audit closure, training effectiveness, ER case volume).
• Own the employee handbook, policies, templates and governance model.
• Oversee employment records program with HRIS; privacy, retention, access controls across jurisdictions.
• Monitor legislative change globally and translate into updated policy and process.
• Drive compliance reporting (OFCCP, gender pay gap, time & attendance).
• Own background check program and People Compliance Training (Ethena).
• Drive workplace investigations framework and centralize case management.
