Job summary

BCLP in Kansas City is seeking a Senior Partner Accountant to join the Partnership Accounting team. The role supports global partnership accounting, including reconciliations, capital management, and partner payments, with interaction with Partners in the US and UK.

The successful candidate will manage multi-currency reconciliations to Elite 3E, contribute to budgeting, and help maintain strong internal controls within a leading law firm’s finance function.

Qualifications

• Seven years of relevant experience in professional services or accounting, ideally partnership accounting in a law firm.
• Demonstrated ability to manage partner accounts and multi-currency reconciliations.
• Experience with Elite 3E and financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and process partner payments and prepare partner statements.
• Monitor partner capital, capital calls, loans, and repayments.
• Assist budgets and cash flow for partner remuneration and firm cash flow.
• Prepare partner journals and reconcile accounts to cash and accrual balances.
• Collaborate with US/UK teams to ensure consistent practices and drive improvements.
• Support audit and respond to accounting queries related to partners.
