Job summary

BCLP seeks a Senior Partner Accountant to join their Partnership Accounting team in the US. You will support global partnership accounting and partner finance activities, including reconciliations, capital management, and partner payments, collaborating with Partners in the US and UK.

The role requires multi-currency work in Elite 3E, strong technical accounting skills, and the ability to interact with senior stakeholders across borders. Experience in professional services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience with senior partner accounting tasks in professional services.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to handle complex reconciliations and reporting.
• Excellent communication, organisation and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle partner payments and prepare individual partner statements.
• Manage partner capital, capital calls, loans, and repayments.
• Assist with budgets and cash flows for partner remuneration and firm cash flow.
• Prepare partner journals and reconcile accounts in Elite 3E.
• Conduct induction meetings with partners and explain financials.
• Coordinate between US and UK partners and implement process improvements.
• Support Global Partnership Tax and Payroll Director and Senior Manager.
• Assist with audit and accounting queries related to partners.
• Cover tasks for team members during busy periods.
