Job summary

BCLP in New York is seeking a motivated Senior Partner Accountant to join the Partnership Accounting team. You will support global partnership accounting, including partner reconciliations, profit allocations, capital management, and partner payments, with regular interaction with Partners in US and UK.

The role involves multi-currency reconciliations to Elite 3E and collaboration with US/UK teams. You will contribute to process improvements and ensure accurate financial reporting for partners.

Qualifications

• Part or fully qualified accountant; desirable but not essential.
• Experience in partnership accounting within professional services or law firms.
• Minimum seven years relevant experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and process partner payments and prepare individual statements.
• Manage partner capital and related loans, including annual capital calls.
• Assist budgets and cash flows for partner remuneration and firm cash flow.
• Prepare partner journals and reconciling accounts with Elite 3E.
• Attend induction/outgoing meetings with partners and coordinate with US/UK teams.
• Work with Senior Manager to standardize approaches and drive process improvements.
• Support Global Partnership Tax and Payroll Director and handle accounting queries.
• Cover tasks for absent colleagues and assist during busy periods.
