Job summary

BCLP is seeking a Senior Partner Accountant to join the Partnership Accounting team. The role focuses on multi-currency reconciliations, partner capital management, and payments within Elite 3E, supporting global accounting procedures for partners.

Qualifications

• Seven years minimum of relevant experience in a professional services or accountancy practice, ideally in partnership accounting for a law firm.
• Part or fully qualified accountant is desirable but not essential.
• Strong Excel skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Process partner payments and prepare individual partner statements.
• Monitor and maintain partner capital, including capital calls and loan financing arrangements.
• Assist with budgets and cash flows for partner remuneration and firm liquidity.
• Prepare partner journals and reconcile partner accounts to cash and accrual balances in Elite 3E.
• Lead induction and meetings with partners to review their financials.
• Collaborate with US/UK teams to ensure consistent processes and drive improvements.
