Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer (Hardware Engineering – Manufacturing)

Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team is looking for experienced professionals to help build the world’s premier cloud computing platform. This role requires a technical contact who will manage manufacturing launch and process issues, work closely with Design Partners, component vendors, and internal teams, travel to manufacturing sites, and drive production up and running while ensuring quality targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing technical operations support at the factory.
• Provide on‑site support to new product launches and sustaining issues.
• Design for quality and manufacturability in new server and rack designs.
• Root cause and resolve customer‑impacting issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of driving process improvements.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with server platforms or high‑tech hardware.
• 5+ years working with manufacturing suppliers to improve incoming quality of systems.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
• Experience with project management of technical projects.

Benefits & Compensation

Base salary range:
USA, TN, Nashville – 151,200.00 – 204,600.00 USD annually
USA, TX, Austin – 159,200.00 – 215,300.00 USD annually
USA, WA, Seattle – 159,200.00 – 215,300.00 USD annually
