Job summary

Bio-Techne is seeking a Senior Transportation & Logistics Manager to design, optimize, and manage its global transportation strategy. This role combines hands-on execution with strategic network design to support scalable, international shipping while building the necessary systems, carrier relationships, and processes.

The ideal candidate will be an on‑the‑ground operator who can drive cost optimization, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with cross‑functional teams to enable on‑time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in transportation and logistics management.
• Experience managing carrier relationships and negotiating freight contracts across multiple modes.
• Knowledge of international trade compliance and import/export requirements.
• Proficiency with TMS, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
• Strong communication and ability to influence cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global transportation and logistics strategy.
• Assess network and identify cost reductions and risk mitigation.
• Design scalable processes and systems for future team growth.
• Lead carrier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, 3PLs, brokers, and carriers.
• Monitor KPIs/SLAs and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Legal/Trade Compliance on regulatory requirements.
• Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
