Job summary

Hydrafacial LLC is seeking a Sr Logistics Specialist to serve as the operational engine for domestic and international shipments. The role focuses on managing shipment documentation, building carrier relationships, and driving on-time delivery, with strong emphasis on proactive issue resolution.

Responsibilities include optimizing logistics processes, collaborating with customs brokers and trade compliance teams, and delivering accurate carrier performance reports.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics coordination, or transportation management.
• Solid knowledge of domestic and international shipping concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Self-directed with the ability to communicate findings, make recommendations, and facilitate resolution across internal and external stakeholders.
• Full proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage time-sensitive shipment issues effectively.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience working directly for a freight forwarder or third-party logistics (3PL) provider.
• Familiarity with trade compliance documentation including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and country of origin requirements.
• Experience with TMS (Transportation Management System) or ERP platforms.
• Background in medical device, consumer products, or beauty industry logistics.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and Incoterms.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process domestic shipment documentation and provide backup support for the international logistics team as needed.
• Monitor the movement of shipments from pickup to final delivery, coordinating with carriers to prevent delays.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal customers, external customers, and carrier providers, delivering high service quality.
• Collect and analyze data to create carrier performance reports and track on-time delivery KPIs.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams on international shipment requirements.
• Identify and escalate logistics issues with recommended resolutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and improve delivery performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
