Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Global Logistics Supervisor for Transportation on 2nd shift to lead a team handling export/import operations for WWT materials.

You will act as a subject matter expert on transport modes, Incoterms and compliance, guiding operations, optimizing resource use, and implementing improvements across the transportation team to ensure efficient, compliant global logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics management preferred.
• 6 years progressive experience in a related field.
• 4-6+ years' experience with import/export trade compliance and logistics.
• 5 years supervisory experience.
• Expert knowledge of supply chain & logistics terminology.
• Experience with global trade management systems and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates advanced understanding of the industry and stays current on leading trends.
• Acts as an expert on industry issues and provides guidance on complex situations.
• Guides customers on selection and application of industry products/services.
• Creates measures to maximize resource utilization and builds reports to improve efficiency.
• Designs departmental improvements that impact quality of products, services, and processes.
• Leads in continuous improvement and tracks department-wide measures to monitor quality.
• Collaborates across disciplines to brainstorm and implement solutions to complex issues.
