Job summary

Amazon Global Logistics is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to own long-term capacity planning for the Global Cross-Dock (GXD) network and to lead end-to-end imports capacity strategy across origin to destination processing. Qualifications

• 5+ years of supply chain experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
• 2+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience
• 3+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Own long-term capacity planning for the GXD network across origin through ocean and destination processing.
• Lead inputs into OP1, OP2, and QxG planning cycles with volume forecasts and capacity models.
• Build demand-to-capacity models translating forecasts into node-level requirements.
• Partner with Direct Import, GPE, and FBA teams on new launch roadmaps.
• Establish and lead Monthly and Quarterly Capacity Reviews.
• Identify capacity risks, develop mitigation strategies, and present to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Ocean Procurement, Dray, Destination Ops, Finance, and SCOT.
• Drive forecast accuracy improvement and scalable reporting.

Education

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field

Master's degree or MBA in related field

5+ years of supply chain experience

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

2+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience
