Job summary

Goodwin is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to conduct in‑depth legal and business research that supports attorneys and administrative staff. You will develop training, onboarding programs, and consult on complex research projects while monitoring GenAI tools and trends.

You will leverage Westlaw, Lexis, and other major databases, collaborate across departments, and help drive efficient, high‑quality outputs in a fast-paced firm environment.

Qualifications

• MLS or equivalent private law research experience
• Strong knowledge of diverse information sources and databases
• Emerging technologies in data analytics and AI in research processes

Responsibilities

• Delivers proactive, expert legal and business research for attorneys and staff
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of internal knowledge management resources
• Advises on research strategy and resource selection for cost efficiency
• Develops training curricula and onboarding for staff
• Creates newsletters and alerts from news aggregators
• Contributes to Research Services intranet and knowledge platforms
• Keeps up with developments in legal and business GenAI tools
• Prioritises continuous professional development
