Job summary

Goodwin is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to conduct in-depth legal and business research to support attorneys and staff. You will develop training, onboarding, and consult on complex research projects while leveraging GenAI tools to advance Research Services objectives.

This role collaborates with the Director of Research Services to implement solutions, stays current on industry developments, and helps maintain the firm’s intranet and newsletters.

Qualifications

• MLS from an ALA-accredited library school; equivalent work experience may be substituted.
• 7+ years’ experience in legal or academic research in private law firms or libraries.
• Expert knowledge of major information sources and new technologies in research.
• Strong interview, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive, value-added research to the firm and clients.
• Provide expert legal and business research support to attorneys and staff.
• Maintain knowledge of internal resources to enhance deliverables.
• Develop training programs and onboarding for staff and associates.
• Leverage AI and data analytics to improve research efficiency.
