Job summary

Verkada is seeking a Senior Leave of Absence Associate to own and elevate our global leave programs, ensuring an empathetic employee experience during important life moments. You will partner with People Partners, Payroll, and Benefits, improving workflows and scaling processes as Verkada grows.

You will drive analytics, policy development, and collaboration with HRIS/People Tech to enhance Workday leave functionality and data governance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in global leave administration and benefits/HR operations with hands-on ownership.
• Direct experience calculating leave top-ups for variable-compensation employees.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, ADA, PDL, PFL, WC, STD/LTD and international leaves.
• Proven pay audit accuracy and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer global portfolio of leave programs and lifecycle from intake to return-to-work.
• Develop and scale international leave processes with local partners and counsel.
• Partner on accommodations, with Legal and managers on complex cases.
• Create LOA reports, dashboards, and analytics to drive decisions.
