Job summary

Robinhood is expanding globally from New York, Toronto, and Menlo Park. As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you bridge high‑performance frontend interfaces with resilient backend systems, delivering localized customer experiences—from multi-currency funding to regional asset trading.

You will lead complex designs and partner with product, design, compliance, and platform teams to meet security and regulatory standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience designing, building, and operating production systems across the full stack.
• Frontend depth with React/TypeScript emphasizing performance and accessibility.
• Backend and distributed systems experience with Go or Python and relational/NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Full Stack Architecture & Engineering: Develop frontend interfaces (React/TypeScript) and scale backend services (Go/Python).
• Global Product Launches: Own technical delivery of international onboarding, multi-currency funding, and region-specific trading experiences.
• Growth and User Acquisition: Build localization and promotion engines to accelerate international adoption.
• Reusable Internationalization Platforms: Architect scalable i18n/l10n services for future jurisdictions.
• System Reliability & Observability: Ensure high availability, low latency, and implement telemetry and automated testing.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, design, compliance, legal, and platform teams to translate jurisdictional requirements.
