Job summary

Innovative Captive Strategies is seeking a Sr. Event Manager to lead planning and execution of client events, captive meetings, conferences, and travel programs.

You will manage budgets, vendor contracts, and onsite leadership to deliver exceptional experiences for clients and partners. Bring 5+ years in event planning, strong project management, budgeting, and proficiency with Cvent, Canva, Excel, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in event planning or related field.
• Strong PM, organizational, and budgeting skills.
• Experience with Cvent, Canva, Excel, and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute meetings, conferences, and client events from start to finish.
• Manage hotel contracts, room blocks, registration websites, attendee communications, transportation, food & beverage, and event logistics.
• Build and manage event budgets, vendor contracts, and final reconciliations.
• Serve as the primary contact for hotels, venues, suppliers, and destination management companies.
• Lead onsite event operations and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Identify new venues, destinations, and creative attendee experiences.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful event outcomes.
