Project Management Institute, Inc. seeks a senior Event Manager to own end-to-end planning and execution of in-person and virtual events, collaborating with executives, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful experiences.

You will manage budgets, timelines, contracts, and registrations, while mentoring peers and shaping playbooks to scale high-quality events globally, including travel coordination and post-event analysis.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Industry certifications such as CMP, CMM, PMP, or CAPM are a plus.
• At least 7+ years of experience in end-to-end event planning and execution.
• Proficiency in planning meetings domestically and internationally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead the planning and execution of in-person or virtual meetings and events from concept to completion, including post-event summaries.
• Collaborate with business owners to create detailed event plans and budgets.
• Source, negotiate, and coordinate with venues, audiovisual providers, decorators, and other key vendors.
• Ensure seamless on-site execution with a focus on customer satisfaction and attendee experience.
• Define templates, playbooks, and process improvements that make high-quality event delivery repeatable across regions and formats.
• Liaise with business owners (CEO, Chief of Staff and other Executive Leaders) to develop and implement program needs.
