Job summary

VAST Data, Inc. is seeking a Senior Events Manager to lead the Global Events portfolio, including trade shows, conferences, sponsorships, and Forward. You will partner with sales, marketing, product, customer advocacy, and leadership to deliver high-impact experiences that engage customers and drive results.

The role requires strategic thinking and hands-on execution, managing budgets, vendors, content, and attendee journeys, with travel up to 40% and remote work across the United States.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of event marketing or corporate event management experience.
• Experience with trade shows, conferences, and complex proprietary events.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-day events with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience planning and executing user conferences, customer events, executive programs, or flagship events.
• Experience managing diverse vendors including production, A/V, venues, agencies, fabrication, and registration.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute event strategy across trade shows, conferences, and Forward portfolio.
• Own end-to-end event execution from planning and budgeting through content, speakers, sponsorships, vendors, production, logistics, registration, and post-event follow-up.
• Support Forward planning and execution as a key member of the event team, shaping conference experience and attendee journey.
• Drive trade show performance by managing the event calendar, sponsorship strategy, booth programs, experiences, and sales engagement with measurable goals.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, product, customer advocacy, demand generation, PR, and leadership.
• Manage external partners and vendors ensuring quality, efficiency, and timelines within budgets.
• Establish and manage event plans, budgets, timelines, and success metrics, using post-event insights for improvements.
• Drive operational excellence and scalable event processes to elevate VAST Data’s event experiences.
• Help evolve Forward's event methodology and framework as the conference grows.
