Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Core Operations Associate Senior on the Trade Operations team to support global equity trading, settlements, and risk monitoring in a fast-paced environment.

You will analyze data with Excel and Power BI, investigate trade breaks, and drive process improvements across brokers, custodians, and counterparties. A Finance/Accounting-related degree and experience in financial services are required, with a strong ownership mindset and collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH and large data analysis.
• Experience with BI tools to support risk monitoring and decision making.
• Excellent collaboration and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support daily global equity trade operations: capture, settlement, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Investigate trade breaks and operational exceptions; communicate findings and drive timely resolution.
• Partner with Trading, brokers, custodians, and service providers to ensure accurate processing.
• Use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
